Corn Dancer Pendants

July 24th, 2011

The summer is coming to a close.  It’s almost time for harvesting crops for the upcoming winter.  Navajo and Pueblo farmers will soon begin harvesting their crops in their fields across the reservations. It will soon be time to honor our Corn Mother and enjoy the bountiful harvest of Indian corn (not sweet corn) prepared in a variety of ways.

I created 3 female Corn Dancer pendants set with natural turquoise stones.  Each of these abstract figures is a woman wearing a traditional Pueblo woman’s headress called a tabilta (the stepped silver part of the figure).  I hope you consider purchasing one of my handmade pieces to add to your jewelry collection.

Please contact me if you have any questions or comments.  Thank you and enjoy!

Vintage Navajo Earrings

March 22nd, 2011

My latest projects include making replicas of the old style vintage Navajo & Pueblo earrings that are featured in a book titled Navajo and Pueblo Earrings. The pieces below are some of my favorite styles with the aged, oxidized, brushed appearance of these pieces. I admire old Navajo and Pueblo jewelry. I hope you consider purchasing a piece of history by purchasing one of my authentic handmade Navajo earrings. I use PayPal to conduct my sales transactions.

Please contact me if you have any questions.  Thank you!  Enjoy!

Henry Morgan Concho Belt

March 29th, 2010

I am selling two of my treasured pieces from my personal collection due to the current economic situation.  I purchased these pieces with the idea of keeping them, but I decided to part with these pieces and share the enjoyment of these pieces.  Harry Morgan was an award-winning silversmith as is his brother Henry Morgan. I sold the Harry Morgan canteen I had for sale.   These are made with excellent craftsmanship and finished in the classical, vintage style.

Please contact me if you are seriously interested in collecting these pieces.

First Phase Concho Belt by Henry Morgan

Handstamped Navajo First Phase Concho belt.  I purchased this from another collector in Albuquerque, NM.  I had this belt “re-finished” to give it a presentable gallery look.  It’s highly polished with the conchos put on a new black leather strap.  There are 9 conchos and 1 buckle.  Each is 2.75″ in diameter made in a heavy gauge silver.

Price: $1,100 plus $25 insurance & shipping in U.S.
